I went straight to the beach after coming home from the USA - a good way of getting over the jet lag, I must say :)). My cousin Mojca, her son Kristijan and I spent a couple of days on the island Rab in Croatia. Rab is one of the islands of the Kvarner Bay archipelago in the north of the Croatian Adriatic Sea. The sea was a bit too cold to swim in, but we had fun walking and driving around, and even went to two adjacent islands, Mali Losinj and Pag, by boat.

My friend Lisa and I at Fall 2003 Commencement - we both graduated with a Master of Arts in Economics. Being in a teaching profession can be very rewarding, as I discovered when Nandar, one of my students, invited me to her graduation. Thank you, Nandar!

I flew to London from Venice, so my brother Bojan and his girlfriend Ana gave me a ride to the airport and we managed to squeeze in an ultra quick sightseeing of the city before my flight in the evening.
