My cousin Dusan has been living in Toronto, Canada, for almost 10 years now and the end of this August we finally both had time to meet - especially because I wanted to see his son, Sebastien. So I went there for the long Labor Day weekend and had a great time. And of course I couldn't leave Canada without visiting the Niagara Falls - the Canadian Horse Shoe. It's really magnificent!

My friend Lisa got married in Cleveland, OH, so I spent the Memorial Day weekend there. It was a fun weekend, although a bit taxing on the feet (high heels and bridesmaids' dresses all day anyone?), and I earned a nickname 'Wolf'(??) while playing my first ever game of poker. Photos from the wedding should soon follow.

My friends Gunjan and Sud got married in India - a perfect excuse for me to combine attending their wedding with a bit of travelling. Gunjan's relatives took care of the arrangements and I saw a lot in about 8 days on the road. First I took the Shatabdi Express from Delhi to Jaipur, went to Pushkar, flew to Udaipur, drove to Ranakpur, flew to Jodhpur and then back to Delhi in time for the wedding. I spent my last day in India in Agra. Would love to go there again sometime, and visit South India as well.

Summer 2003 was the first summer after two years in the area that I actually had some spare time to go and wonder around DC. Sad, but true...
