Kew Gardens (March 2007)
Paris (February 2007)
A short trip with the Eurostar and voila - Paris! Lots of walking around, but we managed to cover the essentials (sans museums etc.), go to the Champs d'Elises, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Louvre, Notre Dame, Bastille...

Chinese New Year in London (February 2007)
I missed the parade on the Chinese New Year in London, but still experienced the crowds and saw quite impressive fireworks.

Chicago (January 2007)
I was in Chicago for the AEA Annual Meetings, and combined business with pleasure by doing some sightseeing. It was nice to meet some of my friends and professors again.

Windsor (December 2006)
On a quite cold December day, Emily and I decided to take a train to Windsor and Eton. The Windsor castle is really impressive, the Queen was apparently there (judging by the flag), and I especially liked the Doll House.
