My first time in London - hard to believe after all these years of connecting flights from either Gatwick or Heathrow. I only had one and a half day to explore it, but I would definitely like to come back.

Prekmurje is the easternmost region of Slovenia and is its largest agricultural region. It is named after the Mura River, which separates it from the rest of Slovenia. The region is flat in the south near the Mura River and hilly in the north (Goricko). It is a land of wide fields and rounded hills, storks and wind-rattles, floating mills, healing waters and energy points, picturesque winegrowing hills, original traditions and dialects, and above all, a land of hospitable people. Back in January, I was in London for a couple of days - and in July I moved there. My brother Bojan and his girlfriend Ana came with me, so I had some company exploring it before starting work in August. We walked around a lot, went to the British International Motorshow 2006, and experienced some of the hottest days in London in ages.

Early May Bank Holiday in Dublin. Weather was not so great, but Dublin is a nice place. Smoke-free pubs with live music are great.

Edale in the Peak District. Beautiful countryside, lots of green and sheep. Great weekend away, two days of hiking and fun.

My distant relatives in Minnesota were kind enough to invite me to visit them right after my Spring finals. I met a lot of people, saw some parts of Minnesota and had a great time. Special thanks to Jeremy who was driving me around Minnesota and to Granpa Jake, Marcia and Tony who made my visit possible.
