Bachelorette Party for Marilyn (September 2003)
It was bound to happen one day - Marilyn and Ashok decided to get married! And of course Gunjan et al. could not let Marilyn go without an impromptu bachelorette's party, which was a nice surprise for Marilyn and good fun for all of us. We had pizza, tiramisu and "drunken brides", chatted, and watched two movies appropriate for the occassion: When Harry Met Sally and Monsoon Wedding.

Visit of My Aunt and Uncle (May 2006)
My aunt Silva and uncle Janez came to visit me in the U.S., primarily to attend my graduation, but also to travel around. We went to DC, New York, Annapolis and around College Park and had a busy schedule - I used the opportunity to see what I haven't managed to see in almost 5 years during their visit.
