Maryland Day 2006 was held on April 29, 2006, and it featured the world's largest strawberry shortcake. The weather was just fabuolus! Aparajita and I made a good plan, got lots of free stuff and food, and had a great time. It was also the first time in five years I spent more than half an hour at Maryland Day.

My roommate Monica and her boyfriend Darin invited me to go rock climbing with them to Carderock, Great Falls, VA. When we got there, I got scared and said I will only play a photographer, but they convinced me to give it a try - and it was fun. The hardest part for me was getting down, not climbing up, since it was hard to convince myself that the rope (and Darin) will not let go. At some point I was even joking they should send me a helicopter. But there was no need for it in the end. I would definitely like to try this again.

Happiness on graduation day - we are all glowing in our fancy red gowns and black caps. And party at Gunjan's place with Indian dinner courtesy of Gunjan's mother and a special cake made by me (I'm not the bragging type, but it was good!) was great.

On a nice Sunday afternoon in August, my friends and I went for a walk around Washington, D.C., and took a photo of almost every panda statue we found on the way :)) (For more information on panda statues in DC, check http://www.pandamaniadc.org.)
